My Story

They don’t come more handsome than this guy.. introducing Mr. GQ himself… Whisp!

Whisp is a one-year-old, 65-lb Great Pyrenees mix who is not only gorgeous to look at but also has an incredibly sweet personality.

His favorite things in life are toys, chewing on bones, being outside, and playing with other dogs. Yes, Whisp is dog friendly with all shapes and sizes and even won over the cranky resident senior dog in his foster home! We’re saying no to cats at this time due to his eagerness in chasing backyard critters… the cats will thank us!

Whisp didn’t have a great start to life prior to coming to rescue. He showed up with a broken calcaneus (heel) that had been injured for several months. Because of this, he’ll always have a little “swagger” to his step, but it doesn’t stop him from playing, jumping, climbing stairs, and running with the best of them!

Looking for a Velcro dog with undying devotion? Whisp is happiest when he is with his people and will thrive in a home where the family either works from home, is retired, or will commit to daycare when gone for long stretches of time. In the home, Whisp is perfectly housebroken and a gentleman to have around!

If you have a physically fenced yard, a big heart for LGD breeds & a need for a shadow in Pyrenees form, Whisp is your guy!

Currently located in Chester County, PA, and can travel to his perfect forever family.
