Walter

My Story

Walter came to us as an owner surrender.  He is about 3 yrs old, and a very handsome 60-ish lb lab mix. He is picky about the dog company he keeps – prefers females to males, and doesn’t like in-your-face or dominant dogs of any sex. However, we think that with the proper and consistent training he can learn that other dogs can be fun playmates. But for now, he should be an only or go to a home with a calm female resident.

He is good with all people, including kids, but cats are a little to delicate for his rough and tumble play style. And he will try to engage them to play. So no cats, please.

He is housebroken, crate trained, and learning how to walk better on a leash. Walter will be a great family dog, with a little patience and a lot of love. If interested in learning more about him, or to adopt, please contact Jen.Lu@bigfluffydogs.com
