My Story

This brown-eyed beauty is Viggo!

Viggo is a 1–2-year-old Lab mix who weighs about 65 pounds. This guy came into rescue in rough shape, but he’s gained some weight and gotten lots of love, and he’s now ready for his forever home! Viggo loves people and seeks attention. He is great with other dogs but isn’t quite sure how to play, but that should come with time! He is a dream on a leash and would thrive in a home with someone who can give him daily exercise — hikes, trips to the park, or a fenced yard to run around in. He is not for a couch potato or someone who spends their weekends scrolling through Instagram.

Viggo would do better with someone who is home more often than not as he does have a bit of crate anxiety. He is working on housetraining but is picking things up quickly. Overall, he will make someone a great companion!

Because Viggo has a bit of energy and can be wiggly, we’d suggest a home with older, sturdy kids. He would do great with a doggy sibling, but no small dogs, cats, rabbits or tiny furry creatures for this guy.
