My Story

Please meet the turtely awesome Turtle!

Turtle is a 5 month old german shepherd mix and the last one standing from his litter. Turtle is ready to find his furever home! This boy has come a long way since being in a foster home. At first he was scared of every sound he heard, but with some time and patience, he has already blossomed into a confident young pup ready to take on the world.

Those ears are not just for show – he actually listens when you speak to him especially when treats are involved! This pup is very smart and listens to commands well and would be a great candidate for some agility training so he can exercise both his mind and body! According to his foster mom, this pup is social, protective, and the biggest love bug so be prepared for lots of cuddles and kisses!

Turtle definitely exhibits some shepherd qualities and so for his ideal home, previous shepherd experience is required as well as having a physically fenced yard. Turtle’s adopter is also going to need to be dedicated to continuing his training and socialization so that Turtle can grow up into the best boy he can be! Turtle is dog friendly and would do well with other dogs but would totally fine also being your one and only. No cats or kids for this fella though.
