Truman

My Story

Meet Truman, a truly loyal and handsome boy. Truman was found on the side of the road by one of our volunteers beside another dog who had been killed and refused to leave him. He would not even leave to eat so Truman was in a bad state severely malnourished and dehydrated.

Fast forward to now, Truman is a healthy 60lbs at 3 years old. Gone is the misery of his beginnings, Truman is loving and loyal and loves every human and dog he meets. He was meant to be mans best friend. Truman loves to play and go for walks and runs. He is also very happy to snuggle on the couch with his human and canine pals.

As well as being heroically loyal, Truman is very smart. His foster mom has taught him some basic commands which he has learned very quickly, “Come.” “Sit,” “Stay,” and “No.” He is house trained and crate trained his only restriction is no kitties.
