My Story

Toby Wayne is the classic story of what happens when people pick out a cute, white, fuzzy puppy to cuddle with and ooh and ahh over, only to realize sometime later that they now have an 80 pound equivalent of a human toddler that they have no interest in actually caring for. It happens way more often than we would like to think, and this perfect gorgeous dog was dumped at a shelter for no greater sin than being a puppy who needed some training. He is now just about a year old and probably full grown at around 85 pounds.

Toby is happy and affectionate and is so full of life he practically glows. He loves other dogs and would absolutely love to have a playmate. He was hoping the kennel cats would play with him, too, but when he realized they weren’t interested he moved on to better things. Toby is a very.good.dog who just needs some direction, a consistent routine, and the appropriate amount of exercise. For the person willing to put in the work, this will be an absolutely amazing dog that will repay your efforts for years to come.

As Toby is a Pyr through and through, he will need a fenced in yard to patrol, and a family who understand all that is regal about Great Pyrenees and love them for it.
