My Story

Sweet Tex is a lab mix puppy with a sad past. Tex was born under an underpass in Texas and didn’t really have much human contact in the beginning of his life. In his foster home in Ohio, he has gotten along with every dog he has met. He’s also met a cat or two and did just fine with them too! He’s a happy little puppy when he can play with a friend. He would love a home with another dog (or more!) to teach him all about how to be a dog. He gets nervous when people walk around the house, but is snuggle bug and not afraid when people are sitting on the couch or lying in bed (that just means you have to stay in and watch Netflix in bed more often!). Tex needs a patient home that will give him time to come out of his shell. He loves to play and romp more than anything and will be a wonderful dog once he gets over his fear. He is potty trained and crate trained, but trustworthy enough to be left out of his crate during the day.
