My Story

Tammy is a 4 year old German shepherd mixed with something stumpy like corgi that came from pretty awful beginnings. She arrived pregnant, mangy and sick and she had heartworms. She was so thin the vets did not know she was pregnant and we were suprised to discover she was in labor a week after arrival. None of the puppies survived.

It took a very long time to get this girl healthy and she looks great now. Tammy is good with people, she is fine with all dogs, and she is fine with cats, although once in a while, she thinks it’s fun to chase them.

Tammy would be best in a calm home that doesn’t expect a perfect dog on arrival. It will take her a little while to settle in, but once you are in the club, you are hers and she is yours. I would like to see her in a home with another dog to show her the ropes and with a securely fenced yard.
