Star

My Story

Star is a 4 year old, 30 pound dog who came to us on death’s door because her owners failed to provide care for her after allowing her to breed too many times. She was in incredibly poor shape and we weren’t sure she would make it, but this dog surprised us with her rapid recovery and she has suffered no lasting effects from the neglect.  Star is a rescue favorite and she loves everyone and everything. This dog is perfect with people, with dogs and cats. She is so trustworthy, we’d consider leaving her to guard a Porterhouse steak, but not quite. Whoever adopts this dog is getting a truly perfect dog.
