My Story

Meet Spirit!

Spirit is a 9 month old mixed breed girl who may have some Vizsla, Boxer, or other hunting breeds in her DNA. She weighs 42lbs of sweetness and here is why she deserves the very best home for this holiday season…

She was found stray in western TN alongside her siblings and likely has had very few positive interactions with humans prior to rescue. She’s still learning all about the comforts of home life and loves her crate as her safe space. Yes, this girl is house and crate trained! Her ideal home is a quieter one that will go at her pace and let her come out of her shell.

Spirit loves to play with other dogs once she is comfortable and has warmed up. A confident dog who will teach her how to “dog” will be key! No cats or tiny dogs for her – too fun for her prey drive! Kids that are older and respectful of shy dogs will be okay.

She lounges for most of the day in the house aside from zoomies hour where she loves to sprint and play in her fenced backyard. She requests her future home have the same accommodations for her!
