My Story

Meet Socrates! Like his namesake and his doggy ancestors, he will philosophize and consider first those things you ask of him and whether he will do as you ask. ‘Tis the way of the Great Pyrenees.

Socrates is approximately 16-weeks-old and a Great Pyrenees. He currently weighs around 50 lbs. so he will be a BIG boy when he is fully grown. He is good with other dogs and cats, but only kids 12+. Socs is very food motivated, quick to learn, and loving. He is crate and house trained. He would love to have a doggy buddy to play with and he will require a fenced yard and people home more often than not. He will need a patient person to continue working on his training and someone with a true understanding and experience with this breed.
