My Story

Say hello to Smiles. I know this may be hard for you to imagine, but our guy here can’t take a picture without a big ol’ grin on his face! Smiles is a 1-year-old, 60-pound, Pyr/Lab mix. He may or may not be done growing. We’re not committing to anything. We just don’t know if or how much bigger he’ll get. But there’s lots of stuff we do know about the happiest dog on the interwebs today!

Smiles is a very good boy and has the house manners of a gentleman. He gets along great with all dogs and plays with joy. Kitties may hate his energy, but thug kitties will have no problem schooling him to the proper way to greet them. He’s a very quick study.

Smiles has a history that left him with a plate in his front leg. It’s all good. It doesn’t slow him down and he doesn’t regret whatever it was that led him to run into the street. He will need guidance and training to continue learning to use his energy and skills for good. Smiles loves all humans, but due to his exuberant nature, we feel that kids 10 and up would be best. Unless you birthed the descendants of Paul Bunyan and find screaming toddlers to be a melodious tune, please pass on by.

Our lad lives life with zest! He plays hard, loves hard, and insists on you accepting his love. This is done by cuddles with his humans. You must accept his love. If you don’t have room on your couch for Smiles, please keep on walking. Our boy would be happy to run, walk, or hike with you, and would be miserable without cuddles. This is a deal breaker for Smiles. Smiles requires a fenced yard so he can continue his romping.
