Sheila
My Story
Sheila is a pocket puppy – she’s the perfect sized lap dog and she knows it. Her favorite place to be is draped across your lap or curled up next to you. If there are two of you on the couch, so much the better, she can stretch out and take up all available lap real estate.
She appears to be a lab mix…and there is a little something else in there that makes her long and wiggly that gives her the white polka-dot paws. Sheila is about 40lb and 14 months old.
She is curious, rambunctious, and hilarious. She love to sit in the kitchen with her foster mom and make sure the squirrels don’t invade. Her huge bark masks her true pocket size “though she be but little, she is fierce.” Ms. Sheila enjoys other dogs and would do best in a home with dog savvy cats. As far as children go, we would like her to go to a home with the larger variety because she has a tendency to “herd” her family.
She is also very smart. Learned to sit in about 5 minutes. So she’d be great with some training or agility. She has lots of characteristic twirls and whirls and thing that could easily be reinforced into dancing and obstacle courses, should the right family come along. Of course this little lady is crate trained, and house broken thought she is still working on her leash manners. All around, she is just a perfect pocket puppy.
