My Story

f you’re looking for a kid-approved dog to keep up with your active lifestyle, who also is a verified lap dog, you’re in luck! Russell is a 65lb one year old lab mix looking to find his forever home. He is currently being fostered in Waterbury CT with a lovely family that has a 5yo, a baby, and two resident dogs. He does great with the kiddos.

He is young and higher energy so he requests an active family that will take him on runs, hikes, and romp around the backyard. He is dog friendly, he just doesn’t know how to read cues and he enjoys rough play. No kitties, as he will go after felines, squirrels, and anything that looks like fun to chase. He is housetrained and crate trained. He is a world class snuggler and lap dog after a day of activities. His foster dad said he is an absolute sweetheart and will make an excellent addition to an active family.
