River

My Story

Say hello to River. She’s a super smiley 4 year old Anatolian Shepherd who is looking for a home of her own.

River is a fantastic dog. She came to rescue knowing tons and tons of commands. Her former owners had her very well trained. She gets along with all humans and all dogs.She doesn’t need a raucous playmate, she is just fine to chill with her doggie companions. River would like a fenced in yard to patrol, and a family to love her forever.

River has impeccable house manners, and is a dream on a leash. Like your 99+ year old grandmother who walks 1 mile an our with a cane could walk this dog good.

This beautiful girl has one vice. She chases cats, and was surrendered to us for being a cat chaser. Due to her past, we will require a home with no cats or small woodland creatures in it. We won’t set her up to fail. She’s too amazing for that.

River is currently located in Nashville, but our smiling friend is ready to board our transport van and head to our forever home. She’s a wonderful pet, and we are sure that one of our many loving fans will fall in love with her.
