My Story

Meet Rhea!

Rhea is a 5 year old suspected Dachshund mix who weighs around 30lbs. She came to rescue alongside a group of small dogs from a horrible hoarding case. Her best days are ahead of her and she’s looking for her forever family!

She is a shy and skittish dog around new people, but once she gets to know you.. she is the ultimate Velcro dog. She lays by her foster mom’s feet all day while she works, sleeps in the bed and loves belly rubs! Her ideal home will be a quiet one without a lot of traffic and people who are home more often than not. She absolutely needs a physically fenced yard.

Rhea may be fearful of people, but she LOVES other animals. She lives with both dogs and cats in foster and loves to play with them. She will thrive in a home with a confident dog who can continue to show her the ropes of life! Due to her timid nature, any kids in the home should be teenage and above.
