My Story

Everyone please meet the one and only RAIN!

Someone once said, “Rain promotes growth. Flowers grow from it, as does your soul.” Nothing truer has been said for this dog! Once Rain comes into your life, your soul will only get brighter! Rain is a 4 year-old German Shepherd weighing around 44 pounds. Rain absolutely loves humans despite her previous life of being a stray. She is considered a velcro dog which just means that if you’re chosen as her person, she’ll follow you everywhere including the bathroom!

Rain loves to play with other dogs but can be a little rough and come on a little too strong. However, when she was corrected by the other dogs and humans, she didn’t bat an eye! She does have a german shepherd’s voice and likes to express her opinion on almost everything even if you didn’t ask her! She is a no go, however, when it comes to the kitty cats as she does have a strong prey drive which is typical of her breed.

The ideal home for sweet Rain would be one where her adopters are active as she does have a medium to high energy level. She would probably benefit from a fence so she can zoom around all she wants and would probably enjoy having a furry companion to exercise and bond with! She would also do well with older more sturdy children since she does like to jump when she plays.
