Ragu

My Story

Ragu is a 4 year old, 62 pound English bulldog mix. He came to us with a multitude of friends from a quasi hoarding/farm situation where there were too many dogs.

Ragu is a good boy. He is good with people and with most any dog that doesn’t want to eat him. He is not great with cats. Also kayaks. We took him kayaking and that went badly as he decided he would cling to the face of the paddler which makes steering difficult. If you want a paddling companion, I could not in clear conscience offer you this dog.

Ragu is a nice boy who wants a home where he can eat, lay around, and be snorty. I can say he could easily clear a room under the right circumstances with dog farts. Ragu is looking for a home with a fenced yard, a very soft dog bed/sofa he can collapse on, and perhaps someone to take him for the occasional amble. This is not a super athletic guy. Think someone who wears a track suit and claims to be a runner, but you’ve only ever seen him pick up the mail at the end of the driveway.

This dog will make a fantastic pet for the right home. Fenced yard/kids over 8/no cats and dogs that are mellow and not grouchy would be great. Interested would-be adopters should fill out an application, then email mandy@BigFluffyDogs.com.
