Poppy is a smart, medium energy pup who loves to play and learn new things. She adores children, but due to her herding instincts, she’s best suited for sturdy kids over the age of 6. Poppy gets along well with other dogs and can coexist with dog-savvy cats. She’s a quick learner and is already working on commands like sit, stay, and down. Poppy is crate trained and can handle short periods alone. She thrives on mental stimulation, so toys and treats are essential to keep her entertained.
Ideal Home: Poppy would thrive in a home with a family who has experience with herding breeds. A fenced yard where she can safely play and explore would be ideal. Poppy needs an active family who can provide her with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and training opportunities.
