My Story

Meet Philbert! Philbert is a 2-yr-old Great Pyrenees Mix weighing in at 75 lbs. This guy is super sweet, but also super shy. He was found as a stray wandering with his buddy, and he is now looking for a home willing to help him blossom into the confident boy we know he can be in time!

Philbert really enjoys cuddling with humans. He doesn’t have any negative reactions to dogs, but he doesn’t seek to play with them quite yet, either. However, we think this may change once he is in a home – so long as his canine companions are patient and aren’t expecting him to be an instant rough and tumble playmate. He even leaves the sacks of meow to do their own thing!

Philbert is currently a low energy guy, but we are anticipating some zoomies here and there once he gets into a home and feels comfortable enough to have some fun! He does think fences are fun to jump, so his forever home will require a sturdy and tall fence.
