My Story

Please meet Otto!

Otto came to us about a little while ago as a stray found tied up outside an Auto Zone – hence the name Otto (our German take on Auto)! Another fun fact is that in German, Otto is the word for ‘Wealth’ which is the perfect description for this boy as he contains so much love inside him that whoever he deems his people will not go a day without feeling the wealth of his love!

Otto is a 6-month-old pitty mix weighing about 50 pounds. Otto has two sides to him (most puppies do) which include a sleeping/snuggling side and the side that zooms around the yard in circles! He has both an on and off switch, however, Otto is the only one who knows where that is because he likes to keep us on our toes and entertained fully! Otto absolutely adores dogs no matter the shape and size of them. He loves to play and he would love to have a furry friend to pal around with. Otto also tends to be described as a Stage 5 clinger so he would love to have people home at all times or as much as they can be so Otto can share the wealth of his love constantly!

Otto’s ideal home would be one with a fenced yard or an active family that will provide him with the mental and physical stimulation that he needs! His family also should be committed to furthering his training and keeping up with his socialization so he can grow up into being the goodest boy that he can be! Otto has also shown some signs of nervousness towards young, young kiddos and would do best in a home with kids 10 years or older. However, Otto does not have an aggressive bone in his body! Despite being dumped off in a random place, Otto loves humans so much and is ready to start his life with his forever family!
