My Story

Please meet the very loving Novel!

Novel is a 5-6 month old Labrador mix puppy who currently weighs around 40ish pounds. He came to us alongside his siblings after living in awful conditions under a trailer. However, his VERY best days are ahead!

Novel is an open book in terms of showing the world how he feels. This boy was a terrified wreck when he first came to us and now he is absolutely thriving in his foster home. He absolutely loves other animals (dogs & cats) and is even kid approved from ages 2 and up! Novel wasn’t so sure about humans at first but has since learned that they are the ones with the treats and the ability to give endless scratches and pets so they are now on his nice list since he is 100% a cuddle bug!

He’s working very hard on his big boy behaviors like house training and walking on the leash. His future family will need to be ready for the structure and training that a large breed puppy needs! In Novel’s ideal home, he would have another playful pup to romp around with and multiple dog beds to choose from so he can find the perfect spot to nap. His adopters will also have to be okay forgoing personal space as he would much rather be cuddling while touching a human body part then on the other side of the couch!
