My Story

Meet Neo — one of the happiest guys you’ll meet!
Neo is a one-year-old suspected Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland mix. He spent the first year of his life cooped up in a barn, but he is certainly making up for lost time! He is learning about all of the good things — toys are fun to play with, people are great for giving affection, soft beds are ideal for a good night’s sleep. He is a sweet boy with a newfound zest for life and is hoping his family is out there!

Neo truly loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a doggy sibling! He definitely has some energy to burn though, so a playful sibling and a fenced yard is highly preferred.

Despite his casual appearance in his photos, Neo is a dog who definitely needs daily exercise — while he has an off switch, he is not a couch potato. He is still learning to walk on a leash, so he will need an adopter with some muscle and dedication toward practicing his leash skills. But once he learns, I’m sure this guy would love hiking or longs walks through the neighborhood. He’s also a bit of a jumper (mostly because he’s so excited to see you) and a big boy at 80+ pounds, so he will need a home without young kids. He’s also fine with cats.
