My Story

Hello everyone! Please meet the very debonaire Mrs. O’Leary. She is a 75 lb 2 year old Great Pyrenees who is lookinfgfor a home of her very own. This sweet gal was dumped at a shelter in rural North Carolina. She has been a livestock Guardian Dog, but she decided that the cattle she was entrusted to protect were more fun to chase than guard, and thus was of no use to the farmers.

Mrs. O’Leary has lived in a foster home with other dogs of all energy levels and sizes. She enjoys walks, and time to hang out in her yard. She is loving, sweet and friendly and is ready for a home of her own. She is described as the sweetest girl ever. Loves to play with humans and other dogs, and is a total love bug. This lovely dog would be fine in a home with cats and we would say children over 12. She’s pretty perfect.
