My Story
Moody and his three brothers arrived in the US from Bosnia last summer. Their mama had been hit by a car and a good Samaritan working at the US Embassy pulled over and put mama and 4 pups into the back of her car. Sadly, mama didn’t make the ride back to the Embassy, but the pups have flourished under their care. They traveled to the US in search of good homes.
All the Bosnia pups were quickly adopted, but Moody was recently returned to us for behaving like an oversized puppy. As all dogs do, he reached the “terrible two’s” of puppydom and started misbehaving. Some consistent training and exercise – and time to grow out of this normal puppy phase – is all this boy needs.
Since he’s been in his new foster home, he has exhibited none of the behavior issues that his adopter returned him for. Sure, he’s torn up a couple of toys, but nothing more than normal puppy destruction. With another dog to play with, a couple of walks or outdoor play time in a fenced yard, and some consistent training, this boy is a gem.
Moody is a snuggler and a lovebug. He is almost a year old – which means the ‘terrible two’s’ are almost over, and currently weighs about 70lbs. He loves to play with other dogs, is good with cats, and is wonderful with children and adults. He is smart, sweet, and playful. He will be a great family dog.
