My Story

Looking for a big, marginally fluffy, dramatically oversized roommate? Meet Missy, a 2 year old Saint Bernard who came in to rescue with her three puppies who have since gone to homes. Now it’s her turn! Unlike most Saint Bernards, she’s managed to break the stereotype—no drool (or at least, only occasionally when drinking). That’s right, your furniture and clothes are pretty safe from the slime. But don’t worry, she’s still large enough to knock over your coffee table with a single wag of her tail.

Missy is OK with some dogs, but not others (seriously, Karen, keep your poodle away), but she’ll happily be your loyal, slobber-free shadow. She’s basically a 100-pound lap dog with no concept of personal space and she loves all people. She’s fine seeing dogs out and about on walks and through fences, but just doesn’t want them all up in her business.

She’s got a heart as big as her paws, and she is good with all humans big enough to defend themselves from the paw. Apply today if you’re ready for a snuggle buddy who doesn’t come with the drool tax.

*So far, she seems terrified of cats – so she seeks a home without any of those little predators. Or, at the very least, little predators who are super dog savvy and would make themselves very scarce in her presence.
