Meet the Marvelous Miss Maui!

Calling all dog lovers and sunshine seekers! Get ready to be smitten by the Marvelous Miss Maui, a stunning 8-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix currently residing at Big Fluffy Dog Rescue.

This delightful pup weighs in at just under 50 pounds and boasts a personality as bright and warm as a summer day. Her foster mom lovingly calls her a “sip of sunshine” and “sunshine in a bottle” for a reason – Maui absolutely adores people and thrives on being the center of attention!

Maui is a social butterfly who has been tested and gets along great with kids aged 6 and above. However, she prefers to be the solo queen when it comes to other furry friends (both canine and feline – she’s not a fan of “Sacks-of-Meow”). Her perfect home is where she can be your one and only cuddle buddy but she is okay seeing other pups outside the home.

This brainy beauty isn’t just sunshine and cuddles! Maui is also highly intelligent and already knows basic commands like “come,” “sit,” “lay down,” “wait,” and “off!” Plus, she’s potty trained and walks well on a leash. Maui requires a fenced yard in her forever home and takes a daily medication for bladder control. However, consistent medication ensures she has absolutely no accidents!
