My Story

Everyone meet the lovely Lucilla!

Lucilla is a 10 week old pyr/lab mix who came to us while still in her mama’s belly! Her mom is a lab mix while her dad is a pyr mix and they all came into the rescue together! Lucilla is crate and potty trained and can be considered part mermaid whenever water is involved!

Lucilla is more on the calm side in terms of temperament and even helped out at her foster mom’s youth grief camp! Lucilla was so tender and loving with the kids and was patient and calm while each child held her. She is so sweet and loving and her face lights up when she receives love and cuddles in return! Because she is still just a baby, she does need an adopter that is committed to continuing her training and socialization so she can grow into the best companion a family would ever want!

In Lucilla’s ideal home, she would have a little human as a best friend so they can romp around in the sprinklers together, read bed time stories together, and maybe even snuggle while sleeping in the same bed together! Lucilla would also love a home with adopters that allow her to explore her mermaid side and either have a pool or will take her to the lake/ocean so she can indulge herself in a nice relaxing swim!
