Louise
My Story
Louise is a 2 year old, 70 lbs Husky mix that arrived to us in December of 2022. She was found roaming in the country with her mother, and it was later discovered that her mother had been shot point blank in the face and lived, and continued to forage for food for months after having been shot. They spent a long time abandoned surviving alone and hurt. When they arrived, they were emaciated and terrified of people.
Louise has come a long way but she is still extremely timid and she needs a home with people with the kindness and the compassion to be patient and to let her come to you on her terms. She is very good with other dogs and she needs another dog or two around to show her the ropes of how to be a dog. The right home for her would have patient, calm people with a securely fenced yard and other social dogs!
She would do best in a home with no cats or small animals, and kids 12+.
Louise just wants a chance to be able to show how loving she can be!
