My Story

Meet the sweet senior now ready for her forever home, Lilac!

Lilac is an estimated 8 year old Great Pyrenees who weighs 80lbs. She is what we refer to as a unicorn dog – meaning she is good with all dogs, cats and kiddos (and lives with all 3 in foster)!

She craves attention from her people and has loved everyone she’s ever met- Lilac will be a wonderful addition to your family!

She came to BFDR with very infected ears and received TECA’s on both sides (total ear canal ablation). Now, she is infection-free, however has total hearing loss. She is a very happy girl and her deafness doesn’t bother her a bit. She responds well to touch and hand signals!

Lilac is overall an easy to have around, low energy dog in the home. She’s housebroken, loves to be with her people and loves to go on walks. In typical Pyrenees fashion, she loves to patrol her fenced yard and alert you to every falling leaf!

Currently in Nashville, TN and can travel to any of our Petfinder locations on transport!
