My Story

Meet Larry!

A handsome 4 year old, 36lb, beagle mix!

Larry enjoys making friends with all the people he meets on walks and most of the dogs. His furry, foster sister is very friendly and must greet everyone and she’s showing him that people are OK. Larry came from a hoarding case without much human contact, so having a dog buddy around really helps him out!  Larry has met children and has enjoyed quiet time with then, but kids past the screaming years would be required.

Larry is not sure how he feels about cats yet. He is currently living with three and they are practicing a love/hate relationship. Very dog savvy kitties would probably be ok for this guy. Larry is a big ball of energy, even at bed time! If you settle him down and rub his belly he’s asleep in 5 seconds. He likes to run around to avoid sleeping like a toddler might, but once he settles, he likes to snuggle when he sleeps. He just wants to love his people. He loves kisses. He goes for the ears! If you are down on his level or he’s up on yours, like on the couch, he’s all over you for attention. He sleeps all night and will even sleep in if no one is up. So late risers, this is your pup!
Larry is still timid and he will never be the life of the party. He loves his walks and the excitement of a new day. Lots of praise and treats seem to be the key to this guys heart!
