Kudo

My Story

Kudo is one of the most regal and gorgeous dogs I have ever seen. He is a great combination of husky and shepherd. He is a big boy, topping 75 pounds and we believe he is approximately 4-5 years old. He came to us as a big fluffy from a shelter where he had been left by his owners.

Kudo will need an adopter who understands and appreciates huskies. Like many of his kind, he has a strong prey drive and should not share a home with small woodland creatures or cats. He does just fine with dogs, but he is much more interested in the company of people! He is attention-seeking and affectionate. He is a BIG baby who will lean on you for petting and climb into your lap for snuggles. He’s special, and he knows it, and he will demand your attention. He is fine with kids past the screeching years.

Kudo is an active dog who will need appropriate exercise. He loves to go for walks or short runs when it’s not too hot. He would make a great hiking buddy! This is not an apartment dog who will lay around all day waiting for you to get home from work. As with all huskies, he will need a securely fenced yard or someone dedicated to frequent leash walking. No electric fences please. Huskies are intelligent, independent, working dogs who thrive when they get the proper attention. If they get bored, they invent things to do, and those things are usually not the type of things we appreciate, if you know what I mean…

Kudo is looking for a forever family with an active lifestyle who wants a social, happy companion and maybe a dog friend to play with. He will repay you with attentiveness, affection, and loyalty.
