My Story

Everyone please meet Kimber – the pup with the kindest eyes!

Kimber is approximately 6 months old and came to us from a horrible hoarding case with some of her siblings. She had a really tough start to life but is now learning all about the luxuries of being a loved pup under a safe and kind household. One thing to know about Kimber is that she LOVES other animals especially dogs. She loves to play with them and simply enjoys being in their presence! She has learned so much from the playful resident pup of her foster home and therefore, her adoptive home needs to have a furry companion for her so she can feel comfortable and safe.

Unfortunately, Kimber never really had any pleasant human experiences in her first 6-months of life and because of that she does tend to start off rather shy around humans. Because of this, her ideal home is one with a patient adopter who is comfortable giving her space and time to warm up to them, another furry companion to show her that humans aren’t all scary, and a physically fenced yard as she is just learning about all the wonders a leash can offer her. Kimber would benefit from a home with older, very respectful children due to her shyness. However, Kimber may be shy at first, but once she warms up, you’ll have a companion for life!
