My Story

Jewels is a sweet, 6-month old puppy of possibly Pyr/Lab/Aussie decent. She is black except for a few brown accent pieces to her fur and a white patch on her chest.

Jewels came in to us with her sister, Jada, both girls scared of their own shadows. They have both come a long way in their foster homes, and Jewels is still a little skittish and slow to trust new people. She would love a family who will be patient with her as she learns and grows.

She is pure puppy. Loves to lug her toys around, run zoomies in the fenced in yard, and play with her canine foster brothers (who might use the word “annoy” vs “play with” at times, but they are good sports with her). She easily entertains herself, but as a puppy needs to be watched so she doesn’t get into things she shouldn’t.

Jewels loves other dogs, is good with people once she feels comfortable with them, and would probably do best in a home with older kids who will understand that she doesn’t like to be chased or grabbed at. Oh, and there’s that herding dog in her, so younger kids may not appreciate her gently nipping at their heels to get them to move where she wants them to move.

This is a smart girl who will learn commands/tricks easily. She is crate trained, housebroken, and learning her leash manners.
