My Story

Izzy came from a pretty unfortunate background and was part of a hoarding case. She was neglected and forced to compete with lots of other dogs for next to no resources. Because of this, Izzy really does not like being with other dogs, and we don’t blame her. She is also used to thinking of cats as potential meals, so she needs a home with no other pets in the house.

However, Izzy is completely the opposite when it comes to people! Izzy loves people of all ages and is a sweet, silly, smiley, wiggly pittie! She loves to interact and play with her family. She loves petting and snuggles and if you have ever owned a Pitbull type dog before, you know that they have no concept of personal space. She will expect butt scratches and games of fetch and her own spot on the couch right next to (or on top of) you.

We know that dogs that look like Izzy have a stigma, and there are lots of misconceptions out there about Bully Breeds. Izzy is a sweet girl who has had a rough life up until now and she deserves someone who loves her and wants a snuggling sofa companion. She has so much love to give and is truly a fun-loving dog who just wants a family of her very own.
