My Story

Kennel favorite, sweet, lover of people, cuddles, hugs and pets, shy, great with dogs of all personalities – just some of the adjectives this young pup has earned during his stay with our rescue. Houdini is a 9 month old, pit/lab mix puppy who came to us from a hoarding case. He was kept locked in a VERY small space and missed out on his puppyhood in that. Because of that, this little boy is shy, timid and submissive with dogs. He is working hard on potty training and not hugging people :).

Great with dogs and afraid (at the moment) of cats. At the moment we consider him a flight risk and so the perfect adopter should be willing to work with him on his confidence, have a high fence OR double leash him on walks. If not, he will show you how he earned his name LOL. People – this is one amazing puppy who will blossom into an incredible companion in the right home. We recommend kids over 10 for this boy just because he can knock littles off with his hugs.
