My Story

Hooper is an 11 year old, 53 lb. Black Lab mix who was an owner surrender due to no fault of his own. Hooper is the trifecta of all dogs and is good with kids, cats, and other dogs, However, he would prefer kids that are on the calmer side. Hooper is crate and potty trained.

This awesome boy is sweet, independent, and reliable. His favorite past-times are hanging out on his bed, getting cuddles, and snacks. He is the quintessential older gentleman and a dream on the leash. He is a little bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will be your best friend. He knows sit, come, shake, down, “go to bed” and “do your business.”

The best fit for this boy will be a patient and kind family looking to give an older gentleman a comfy retirement home.
