My Story
This sweet, handsome guy is Homer. He is total love bug!
Homer is a 6-month-old suspected Lab/Pyr mix. You may be wondering about the way he’s holding his tail… that’s just the way he carries it. He won’t tell us why. But we don’t judge here. You do you, Homer.
Homer is a typical puppy with a goofy, happy personality. He has some energy to burn, so he’d love a doggy sibling to play with and a fenced yard to run around in. He loves toys and doesn’t seem to be super food motivated. He definitely needs some training, as he thinks leashes are confusing and finds that pulling as hard as he can is the best method when it comes to walking. He is working on house training and crate training and will need an adopter dedicated to continuing to teach him the proper way to live in a home and be the best boy.
Homer is going to be a good size guy (he’s currently 45 pounds) and doesn’t quite yet understand where his butt is going to swing next, so a home with sturdy kids is preferred. He is good with dog savvy cats (likes to chase to play). Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome in Homer’s world.
