My Story

OK Lab lovers, we have a great dog for you! Meet The Hobbit. He is a 9 month old lab mix who is pretty much perfect and is ready for a home to call his own. At a mere 30 lbs, we don’t think Hobbit be larger than 40 or maybe 50 when full grown.. and we will refrain from commenting on his furry feet.

Hobbit is a hyper goofy boy. He’s a lab through and through. He loves to play with toys, balls, frisbees, stuffed toys, and generally anything that you leave on the ground. Of note, your shoes might end up as toys, but again… he’s only a puppy. His ideal home would have another active and playful young dog and a nice fenced in yard for the two to romp and play in for hours. He’s not quite yet a super star on a leash, but with a little bit of training, he’ll be great in no time.

Hobbit has met our kennel cats, and Caitlin has let it be known that She rules the world, and silly Hobbits’es should bow to her greatness. As such, Hobbit has been fine with the cats he has met. Because of his energy level, we feel a home with kids older than 10 would be best for him. If your child is a ball player, then this is the pup to fetch all the balls he hits to left field!

Hobbit is working on house breaking, is fine in a crate, and is a happy wonderful young dog.
