Grover

My Story

This sweet guy is Grover. He came to us from a hoarding situation, along with his siblings and several other dogs.

Grover is a 2-year-old suspected Feist/Dachshund mix who weighs about 22 pounds. Grover is naturally pretty shy and scared right now, as his whole world changed. He will need a patient adopter who will help him come out of his shell and learn what it’s like to live in the comforts of a home. He is beginning to understand how to walk on a leash and seems to enjoy the company of people.

Grover’s ideal home will include a doggy sibling who can show him the ropes and help him gain confidence. He’d do best in a quieter home with no small kiddos. He will need some time to decompress but, with his sweet demeanor, we’re sure he’ll open up in no time!
