Gremmy
My Story
Hey little dog lovers — meet Gremmy!
Gremmy is one of the dogs we rescued from a hoarding case who needed a bit more time to decompress and learn to trust. He has improved so much in the last two months that we feel it’s finally his time to find forever.
Gremmy is a year-old Dachshund /Feist mix. He is a playful and sweet guy around people he’s comfortable with. He loves to cuddle and enjoys burrowing under blankets, so his adopters better have some soft blankets for this guy. He enjoys playing with stuffed toys — and by playing, we mean ripping them open, pulling out the stuffing, and playing with what remains. He had learned to be patient when it comes to mealtime and will wait nicely. He has also learned a few commands including “leave it,” “give it,” and “wait.”
Gremmy is fine cohabitating with other dogs. While not playful, he is happy to sleep beside a furry friend. He is still a bit scared of the leash, so he will need someone willing to work with him. He also needs someone with a calm voice, as speaking too loudly makes him nervous. A fenced yard is necessary, and he’d do best in a home without young kids.
