My Story

Ginger is a 2-year old Shepherd mix weighing in at about 55 lbs. She gave birth to and is mama to eight puppies that were born in rescue and have since gone to their forever homes. Now it’s Ginger’s turn! Ginger is best with kids over 6 that understand that jumping on and climing on dogs is a hard limit. She is good with other dogs and dog savvy cats and she is house and crate tained.

Ginger is great with all people, but slower to warm up to men. She would do best in a home that is more on the quiet side. Ginger is sweet, calm, tolerant, and very loving, but prefers things on the slow side of life. She will sit by your side and stare at you with those beautiful eyes, begging you to love her. Don’t let her beauty take you off guard. She is also super smart!
