My Story

Imagine getting a new puppy into your home, and having no room for your older dear sweet Lab who you have had since he was a puppy and then taking that same older dog and dumping him at a shelter. Yeah, well that would be what happened to Gannon. This poor sweet guy is pretty much perfect, and is ready for a forever home.

Gannon may be a little grey around the edges, but he is oh so young at heart. Gannon loves other dogs. He is bouncy and super playful. He’s an in your face kind of guy and dogs who are not of the same stature might find him a bit overbearing.

Gannon is a people dog. He just adores people. He loves to jump on them and demand love and pets. Because of this, we think he’d be best suited in a home with kids over 10 who are sturdy enough to deal with his super loving and friendly nature. Gannon has proved indifferent to every cat he has met . His bounciness does not carry forward to felines!

Gannon is a great dog who will make a super family pet for a family with a nice big yard for him to roam in, and a couch to nap on at the end of the day.
