My Story

Who is looking for the perfect lady to add to your home? Meet Frisky – while not exactly as playful as her namesake, she may have been back in her prime!

Frisky is a 14-year-old Corgi/Pug mix who was listed for free on Craigslist. We couldn’t bear the thought of this senior ending up in a bad situation, and thankfully we were able to find a volunteer to grab her just in time! Frisky spent her entire life as a working girl living on a farm, expected to keep the critters away. She has adjusted well to home life, spending many hours snoozing in a soft bed or cuddled up on the couch.

Frisky is well-behaved, housetrained and a pretty low maintenance lady. She lives with two other dogs and a cat, who she pretty much ignores. She enjoys lots of pets and greets guests nicely. Despite her petite frame, she doesn’t like being picked up, so cuddles would work best if she had some steps to reach the couch. Given she spent her life outdoors, I think she’d enjoy a fenced yard to roam around.

Due to Frisky’s age, her adoption fee is waived but donations are always appreciated.
