My Story

This scruffa-licious cutie is Flint. He is a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees/Wirehaired Terrier who came to us from a backyard breeder who thought it was a good idea to mix these two breeds together. We do agree that he’s super cute but since they didn’t sell, he and his littermates were surrendered to us. He may look big in these pictures but he’s a small boy who weighs only about 40 lbs.

Flint loves to play with other dogs, and he’s great with people and even kitties, too! Flint already knows some of his basic commands and he is both housebroken and crate trained. He’s a pretty low-energy dude as long as he gets some regular walks in and/or a play date with some doggy friends. He’s also a dream on a leash. Flint would be a great doggy companion for just about any household. Super small children will likely terrify him so kids over 8 would be best. A fenced yard would be best for this boy, too!
