My Story

Esme is an 8-month-old Poodle mix who currently weighs around 40 lbs. We think she is part Golden Retriever so let’s call her a Golden Doodle for the sake of this post. We make no promises, though! Esme came to the rescue along with her siblings from deplorable conditions. Her very best days are ahead of her now and she is ready to find her forever family!

Esme really is a true gem. She loves her people and she loves playing with other dogs. She would be fine with other pets in the home or as the only pet, too. She loves attention from her people and also loves laying around and napping next to you while you work in your office and at night she loves to cuddle. She is learning basic commands, and is super close to being fully potty trained. She walks well on a leash and, as most puppies do, she may have a different path in mind than the walker. She will need a family home more often than not and someone willing to maintain her coat with regular brushing and grooming. She will require a fenced yard so she can get her zoomies on and play with her favorite toys and family members.
