My Story
Please meet Edward, the 2-year old, 90 lb. Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix. Edward is perfection and came into BFDR as an owner surrender due to no fault of his own. He is a big, fluffy happy boy whose tail never stops wagging and just wants to get petted all day long. Edward is great with all people, although he hasn’t been around the screeching toddler types just yet. We think he would do best with kids over the toppling-over stage. He is also great with all dogs and he ignores cats.
Like most Great Pyrenees, he has short bursts of energy and romping followed up with long stretches of nap time. He is crate and house trained and loves a good car ride. Edward needs a physical fence and someone with Great Pyrenees or Livestock Guardian Dog breed experience.
