My Story

Behold the ever majestic, Mr Congenialty, handsome ciabatta loaf, Dug!

Dug is a 4 year old Pyr/Lab mix who came to us after having free range of the all you can eat buffet. He’s lost over 25lb since being in rescue and is looking for a forever family who will continue his weight loss journey.

His love for humans runs deep and he is the kindest gentle giant. He would love to be the one and only love of your life, but will tolerate living with other chill, female dogs.

He will follow you room to room, but if he is too tired for that, will occasionally get up to come check on you to see if you have stayed where he has left you. He grunts when he lies down, again pretending that he is old and has aged so many years. His facial features match that of an unpleasant fellow even when indeed he is quite content. Dug is house and crate trained (although he might be stubborn to go in, will do so with a treat happily.)

Dug’s favorite things to do include staying in one spot most of the day unbothered and squeaking his favorite squeak toys. If Dug is right for you, please fill out the application!
