My Story

Meet D O R O T H Y – she is most definitely not in Kansas anymore!

Dorothy is a 2yr Anatolian/Pyr mix weighing around 62lbs. Dorothy came in with her sister and was surrendered by her owner who claimed he was going to shoot them if we didn’t take these wonderful sisters off his hands. All that to say is that Dorothy and sister Dutchess are in much better hands now!

Dorothy is definitely on the shier side right now at the kennel but in a house full of love and patience, we predict she will open up and be the perfect family dog! She is both dog and cat friendly but because she is shy, she is not a fan of dogs that will get in her face or jump on her and she does tend to be more on the quiet side. She absolutely loves to be around her people and to be surrounded by toys!
