My Story

Dax is a 6 month old border collie mix puppy. He and several of his siblings came to us when his farmer owner decided he just didn’t have time to manage 10 border collies.

Dax is a moderately-active, low-intensity border collie with minimal herding instinct. He is on the shy and quiet side which may change with maturity, but I do not expect him to ever be the life of the party. Fax is good with people past the screeching years (say 8 and up) and he is fine with dogs and cats. He is very quick to learn and eager to please and he is largely housebroken and crate trained already.

He will need a fenced yard and he is NOT trustworthy off leash so don’t even think about it. He would do well in a home with people who lead a relatively calm lifestyle. He does enjoy romping in the yard and playing with toys and he would love to have a home with some dog friends to play with.
